Which 2A Band Has The Best Percussion Section This Year?

Recommended Posts

The two in the eastern part of the state that stand out to me this season are Washington County and Garrard County. Washington County's percussion is much cleaner than in previous years, and their front ensemble adds a lot to their show, as does their tenor player. Garrard County's percussion section is the best in the class, always very clean and professional.

I have seen quite a few AA bands this season, especially East. Garrard is obviously way in front, but surprisingly Russell and Lewis seem to be strong in those sections. Not seen much from the west, but I have to agree Washingtons pit is very good. Drumline was miles behind last I saw them at Madison Central, when, if I'm not mistaken, both Russell and Lewis beat them. Not 100% sure on that.
