I still think it is dumb that they let the lyon county person go.

There is always a reason.

What it may be, could make no sense to anyone on the outside. There has to be more to it.

Pretty sure that person resigned in lieu of being terminated. A simple google search will give you some insight.

😲

It reminds me of all of those schools that passed over people like myself 4-8 years ago. It makes no sense to me unless someone left on their own.

I wonder if the pressure got to the director at Bullitt East.

I also wondering what happened at Warren Central.

She left for family reasons. No other reason.

This is a ms/hs job.

Word is the job was a disaster, and that the admin wasn’t up front with him from the start.
I know that CH would take him back in a heartbeat, but I think he’s already taken another position close to Louisville.

From my understanding Great Crossings has been a crock across the board. Their academics aren't up to par with what Scott County had been doing, their football team was pitiful which is odd because Scott County has one of the top teams in the state, Basketball wasn't all that great either, no marching band. I know it takes a few years for a new school to get their feet firmly on the ground, but lord has it been a mess since day one.

Move around much??

Lets see,...

Left Apollo in 2017 to go to grad school.

Went to Warren Central for a year and is now at Bullitt East.

I have a couple of colleagues that have done that with a myriad of gigs. I highly doubt they'll ever get tenure. I cannot speak for their spouses and job situations because I don't know. However many have stayed within an hour of each gig.

My word of advice is to really investigate the situation you are about to enter. You'll know its a good fit unless the group hiring you is corrupt (which could be the case). I work at a car dealership. We had a guy go to another dealership and came back after 3 weeks. The ones that move around never make the best living.

The grass is not always greener. Your desirability goes down more and more you move around.
