Congrats to Dixie Heights Indoor Ensemble

There just isn't very many KY indoor percussion groups period. OH, is by far the dominating state when it comes to indoor percussion. A lot of it comes down to money and the director. There are a lot of great KY high school drumlines. It's too bad that a lot of the good lines don't do indoor.

Congrats to all percussion groups in your class. KY's percussion groups grabbed some big spots this year. Even some of the new groups did really well. If I'm not mistaken you guys got bumped last minute. Everyone usually believes getting bumped screws a group over. Obviously it didn't. Great Job getting the Gold.

    Sig's N' Such

    Thanks for looking into it.

    Sig's N' Such

Is there a way to limit the size of a picture in someone's Sig? For me it's more annoying to see someone's grill every 3 or 4 posts. Plus for those who have dial-up it takes a while to load a picture. I know there is a setting to turn off avatars & sigs but for those who just read the boards with no membership, it's not an option.

I must have missed the salute then. I was too busy watching the guard during the preshow.
  10. P-P-P-P-Poison

Oh, yeah... I forgot about that. Did the drum major not salute or something, because the announcer said, "Dunbar you may bla bla bla..." like 30 seconds into the first song. I thought it was during the preshow but it was definately during the song.

Tim... Good post. Thank you. Quick question to the spectators that were at the show, was tuning a little off for most bands last night or was that just me? Sounded like the cold weather got to almost every woodwind section.

    Corbin-who's going to win

Congrats to all bands. Very close for the top 4 bands. Shout out to Anderson. I think I heard one of the band parents say this was their first Distinguished rating since 2002!!! Your director is doing some good work with you guys. Definitely AAAA dark horse of the year in my book.
